We are “Remedy”, a band of young rockers from Destrehan Louisiana. Our band would

Bio:
Wow! This is REMEDY; a group of "14" year old rockers from Destrehan, LA. They
are the hottest new Kid Band in America with lead singer Cameran Hymel, guitarists Jared Viola and Steven Slaton, bass guitarist
Ross Browning, and drummer Chancey Cothren. Formerly known as the Rowdy Rough Boys & a Girl, these talented kids have
established quite a list of accomplishments. They were the 2010 Grand Champions at the Louisiana Kids State competition and
then went on to win 1st place in their category at the American Kids National competition in Branson, MO.
Before their national competition in Branson, this kid cover band appeared on the Eyewitness Morning News at the local
WWL-TV station. There they performed several of their songs, debuted their national competition song "Hard To Handle" by the
Black Crowes, and introduced one of their new songs "Second Chance" by Shinedown.
In addition to talent competitions, this band has played at talent shows, country club parties, private parties, retirement
homes, and many festivals like Oak Alley in Vacherie, Alligator Festival in St. Charles, Andouille Festival in LaPlace, Covington
Monster Mash, and St. Peter’s Covington festival, St. Cletus Oyster Festival, etc. They also opened for the Top Cats
at the Buddy Walk benefit at Zephyr stadium, opened for the Chee Wheez at the River Parishes Fall festival, and performed
on a float in the Norco Christmas parade.
During the 2011 Mardi Gras season, the band was named as the Grand Marshall’s of the Krewe of Little Rascals
parade and performed on a float along the Metairie parade route. They also won grand champion at the “2011 St. Charles
Has Talent” competition in St. Charles parish where they performed a Joan Jett medley of “I Hate Myself For Loving
You” and “I Love Rock & Roll.” Recently, they have started writing originals that they are ready to
share with America.
This amazing band, REMEDY, is a hard working, rock - blues rock - alternative music loving band, and they are
ready to play for you! This is one group of young rockers you will want to follow as they make their way to the top.
